Villa Dauphine, LLC fine furniture and interiors opened its doors in Mobile, Alabama in December 2003. Villa Dauphine’s furniture and decorating boutique melds the unique tastes and vision of its founders, Kate Dempsey and Sue Ellen Gallaspy. Together they set out to create Mobile’s premier, high-end décor store offering the latest in design trends, in-home decorating, and customer service second to none. Our motto, “All About Your Home”, is derived from our belief that an individual’s home should be a reflection of their personality and style — not the decorator’s. At Villa Dauphine we strive to incorporate our client’s treasured pieces into the design process. This design philosophy results in a home which is unique to the client and their family’s lifestyle. Villa Dauphine is a member of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and was honored as “Small Business of the Month” in May 2007. They are also a member of the Women’s Business Center, Inc. and were honored as “New Women’s Business of the Year” in 2006. Villa Dauphine is a member of the National Home Furnishings Association and the Southeastern Home Furnishings Association. Villa Dauphine believes in community involvement and philanthropic endeavors; they have donated their time and merchandise to several area organizations such as, The Junior League of Mobile, Wilmer Hall Children’s Home, The Centre, the Mobile Medical Alliance, UMS-Wright, and St. Paul’s Episcopal School.
